Lynch, Krummrich, 1740 T-V> O Attached is Jim Mieure's memo of September 26, 197^, on the analysis for 2, 3, 7, 8 Tetracblorodibenzo-p-Dioxin (TCDD) of seven samples from the Chlorophenol process* The results Indicate a potential problem with the Still Residue but not with the refined products or the fraction feed for Penta (Dept. 236). The suggestion v/as made to run a biological test on the Still Residue. It m a y also be beneficial to run biological tests on the other samples. I will discuss this with Paul Wright in Medical, Dan Roman and Lou Scharpf, and decide what* should be the next step. I will also touch base with B i l l Papageorge since he is concerned about the safety of Penta.
